Producia is a provider and network of custom digital makerspaces, or online spaces where people gather to create & manage projects, network, exchange resources, and learn together. We target organizations that cater to creators, entrepreneurs, and intrapreneurs, and can serve as a supplement to a physical space or a dedicated online environment.

- From our research, we haven't come across another organization offering comprehensive and customized, digital makerspaces to organizations that cater to creators, entrepreneurs, and intrapreneurs. We also haven't come across another organization offering a combination of the following features: - White Label - Time Banking - Gamification - Value-Added Crowdfunding - Based on Open Source Software - Based on an evolutionary economic model called Producism

- Addressing Economic Justice The current economic climate has lead to challenging times and a jobs crisis for many people in communities across the globe; especially the youth between the ages of 15-24 and recent college graduates. The World Economic Forum reports that close to 75 million youth were unemployed in 2012, with an unemployment rate of 17.4% in North America. Columbia is currently facing just above a 30% poverty rate, with 9% in extreme poverty. The lack of work and engagement in creativity can potentially result in young people partaking in a life of crime, which has high chances of leading to a dim future. An alternative option for this group is to put their talents to use as micro-entrepreneurs to co-create cooperative enterprises. However, there are many barriers to acquiring the necessary startup capital and resources, and close to 80% of startups fail within the first 5 years. Business incubators and accelerators, mainly in the technology space, have offered support for aspiring entrepreneurs but only have the capacity to assist a select few due to their focus on a particular niche, the brick & mortar approach, and limited funds. What if there was a way to utilize technology to scale and decentralize this business support model to assist all kinds of business niches, in any location with internet access, with a very large pool of resources and funds to deploy. How can this happen? We believe by offering communities online spaces that enable creators to tap into the power of the lean startup methodology, crowdsourcing resources via the sharing economy, and crowdfunding capital from supporters and investors. Our mission is to provide technology that democratizes access to the necessary tools, resources, and communities of support for creators to manifest their ideas together.

- We will offer flexible subscription packages to the organizations that we work with. For upstart organizations that can't afford the annual plans, we will help them set up membership dues and other fees for their users and get a transaction fee from those revenues until the yearly subscription fee is paid in total. We will also generate revenue from offering premium support, custom development, and affiliate marketing.

- The scalability of our project is global due to our digital offering. Our goal is create a global network of digital makerspaces that are able to communicate, exchange resources (via time banking, etc), and combine efforts in order to create a parallel economy that based on sustainability, autonomy, mastery, and purpose.
